  1. A very happy Independence Day to you as well!

    As a former Burn nurse and Pediatric ICU nurse, a lot of my focus is geared towards safety during celebrations. Not only are burns from fireworks or sunburns a concern, but also drownings are escalated–busy moms think someone else is watching the kids, and unfortunately sometimes little ones are sneaky…way too many sad stories from this time of year…
