  2. Fact check. Frequently. Double check your sources. Use a reliable source for references. An example: I have had nursing friends repost “articles” on social media that give a very skewed blaring headline about how unfairly nurses are treated, but the “article” was really a satire piece which greatly exaggerated the story. Satire has its place, but I have grave concerns about the perceptions other non nursing folks may have of these pieces in the social media arena.
